    Completely dependent on the clients’ natural lashes - this is a 1:1 lash extension to natural lash application. The most natural set Lash Gems has to offer; this set is perfect for those that want to enhance their natural lash curl and length. Classics are elegant and timeless, and suits those that wear minimal to no makeup daily.

    A beautiful mix of classic lash extensions and volume fans. This set is for those that are looking for a little more fluff than your typical classic set, but less dense than a volume set. Classic lash and volume fan ratio can be altered to suit the client’s desired fullness and wispiness.

    The fluffiest set at Lash Gems; volumes are one of our signature styles in which density can be customized based off clients preference. This set is composed of volume fans - multiple fibres of lightweight lashes placed onto a single natural lash. Perfect for those looking for a bit more drama than your hybrid set.

    Mega-Volumes

    The most dense and dramatic set of them all. Mega volumes are for those that are obsessed with the fluffiness and darkness lash sets can give to the eyes. While still being ultra-lightweight, fullness can be achieved even on the most sparse lash lines.

  • wet mascara lash set

    Wet/Mascara

    Another signature style—this set is a dramatic version of our classic set. Multiple lightweight lash fibres are placed as spikes to a single natural lash, giving a wet and denser appearance. Wispiness can be achieved by using various lengths and curls in the set, according to the clients’ desire.

  • striplash set

    Striplash

    Lash Gems take on a striplash falsie; blending a volume set with spikes placed evenly apart. This set is more striking than your typical volume set, giving that “falsie” look and is great for an event or makeup lovers. The striplash set can be customized based on the client’s preference for density, length and overall number of spikes.

    Specialty Curl

    Unlike anything else—these sets give an ultimate look when matched with a cat eye or fox eye mapping. Differing from your typical D, C+ and C curls, L & M curls have a slight bend to them. By placement of the longest lengths on the outer corner, and shortest lengths on the inner corner of the eye, this look gives a prominent and sharp eyeliner effect. These curls can also be shown off in a wet set or striplash set.

PREP & POST-CARE

PRE-CARE

Please arrive to your appointment with super clean natural lashes to ensure long lasting lash extensions. Prior to your appointment, wash lashes with Lash Gems Lash Maintenance (lash and brow foam shampoo) to remove dirt and debris on your lash line. Make sure you have absolutely no eye make-up on the day of your appointment - this includes eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, strip lashes/strip lash glue, eye cream, etc.

Please do not have caffeine or energy drinks prior to your scheduled appointment. Caffeine can make you jittery and anxious, and can cause your eyes to twitch; making it difficult to apply your lash extensions. Refrain from the use of stimulants prior to your appointment so you can come relaxed and enjoy your lash experience.

Contact lenses should be removed prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of abrasion or contact with the adhesive.

Get cozy! The Lash Gems studio is situated in a basement and it can get cold, especially during the fall/winter months. Feel free to bring your own blanket so you can be comfortable and enjoy your lash experience!

POST-CARE

Please book your fills and full sets in advance to avoid disappointments as squeeze-ins cannot be guaranteed. To extend and maintain the life of your lashes, schedule fills every 2 to 3 weeks. There must be at least 40% of lashes remaining on each eye to be considered a fill. Anything over 3 weeks is automatically considered a full set.

It is very important that you are washing your lashes 2x daily with the Lash Gems Lash Maintenance Cleanser or with a lash extension-specific cleanser and fluffy brush. Make sure you are cleaning in-between your extensions, your eye lid and under eyes. Clean lashes are happy lashes!

Avoid any oil-based products or makeup around the eye area as these can break down the adhesive and result in pre-mature lash fallout or poor retention.
If makeup use is regular, washing of lash extensions with a lash cleanser minimum twice daily is imperative for retention.

Please be gentle with your lash extensions and avoid picking, pulling and rubbing them. This can result in pre-mature lash loss. As well, try your best to sleep on your back. Using the spoolie given after your appointment or in your aftercare kit, brush your lashes day and night, and when needed to brush extensions into place.

A $20 deposit is required to book all services.

Please make sure you arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment. Arrival 15 minutes past your scheduled appointment is an automatic cancellation and forfeit of your deposit.

Lash extensions are a luxury service and can take anywhere from 2-3 hours for a full set. Quality sets can’t be rushed. Take this self-care time to de-stress and relax!
